Considered by many as Palestine’s white gold, the stone is the most used raw natural material in Palestine. Unfortunately, the big part of Palestine’s industry is hostage of Israeli’s builders, even for what concerns Israeli’s building inside the occupied territories. Moreover, the massive extraction of stone has a deep environmental, social and physical impact on the near villages, cities, camps and people.

Every Palestinian protest against the Israeli exploitation of the stone leads to nothing. Both International Community and Palestinian officials are unable to stop the development of this extractive industry.
