Biography

Mario Piredda born in Sassari in 1980. Since 1999 he lives in Bologna where he works as Director / operator. In 2005 he made his first short film "Il suono della miniera". His second work, "Io sono qui", is in the official nomination for the David di Donatello 2011, won about 70 awards and enters into the official selection at many national and international film festivals. In 2012 he made "Los aviones que se caen" who participated and won several awards around the world. In 2011 he is co-director of the musical documentary "Cervelli in fuga" that is distributed in Italy in 80 cinemas. Since 2009 he is a member of EleNfant Film. In 2017 won the David di Donatello with the short film “A casa mia”.
