He won a prize with his short film, “La città di Asterix”, at the Rome Fiction Fest 2010. In the same year, he directed his film documentary, “Through Korean Cinema”, produced by Blue Film Italia and distributed by Wide House France. The documentary was a success and was screened at the Busan Film Festival (Korea) 2010 and the Tokyo Film Festival 2011. His following works include the documentary “Southeast Asian Cinema – When the Rooster Crows” premiered in Busan and Singapore 2014. Broadcast at Sundance Channel. In 2015 he made “Doris&Hong” a documentary shot in Italy and China. At the moment Leonardo released his new work “Quando non puoi tornare indietro” (When you can’t go back) a intimate documentary on the life of a Syria young man in competition. It will be in competition at the 37 Bellaria Film Festival (Italy). Next project is a feature film “The Chinese coach”.
